Too old for medical school? LOL.
Age is just a number. I know people who are 50+ and have graduated successfully from Medical School and are now excellent Doctors. Is there ever a "perfect age" for anything? Why limit yourself? The question is: is your heart in it and have you adequately prepared yourself to go for it, no matter your age! If it makes you feel better to know, the average age of a year 1 Medical student is around 24 last I read. You would definitely be considered "non-traditional" if you want to accept that title.

ok, the only person that can answer that question for you is YOU!!! No one can tell you if you are adequately prepared to enter medical school. You need to sit down and evalutate your determination and dedication to this field. It will get tough at one point or another but only you can get youself through it....ONLY YOU....no person on earth can want to be a doctor for you more than YOU....so pray about it and really do what is in your heart and always remember that whatever you put your mind to...you can do it...no matter the bumps, rocks, hills, and mountains you may have to pass...Good Luck with everything!

But yes, the average age for entry into med school is around 25. At 29 you can become a doctor and complete your residency at the minimum at 35. Don't worry about your age, like the person above me said, look more into whether you yourself feel prepared to take on this challenge.
