With so many different groups in one place, is there a lot of friction between the different religious, racial , cultural groups? Especially, do the other students hate Muslims because of 9/11?

There's no overt racism (unless you count a few of the remarks people write in the bathroom stalls when they're doing their business and have a few minutes to spare). However, people do hang out in their own cliques that are often mainly divided by race or religion. For example, the Muslims are pretty tight with each other, and other Muslims come to Ross knowing that they'll be able to befriend their own kind. Alot has been said on this forum about whether or not these kinds of cliques collude together to help each other get through school is shady ways, but I'll leave that out of this. It's not like people can't make friends with people outside their own circle, but in general, you'll notice that students are most comfortable with their own kind.
