1.FAIL FOUR OR MORE COURSES Dismissal
2.FAIL REPEAT COURSE(S) Dismissal
3.FAIL THREE COURSES Recommended for Dismissal
4.FAIL ONE OR TWO COURSE/S Repeat semester on probation
5.PASS ALL COURSES INCLUDING REPEAT COURSE/S Promote to next Semester

Its hard enough if you would want them to let you go for 1 class....but 4...I honestly doubt they will let you stay unless you have a REALLY REALLY good reason for it (ie serious health probs etc). If you don't know what to do next, you should contact Dr. L about the situation and see what the next steps are.

Write your appeal letter, give it a shot, you have nothing to lose

Also keep in mind that if you appeal the decision and they still dismiss you, it will show up as being dismissed on your transcript. If you choose not to appeal, it will show up that you withdrew. If you are serious about med school and would like a chance at transferring, it would be better if your transcript said that you withdrew.

I have heard it is 20% in the first semester. much lower after that.
