How much of it is drug related questions, and to what depth do the questions go? Any tips?

674 points There are a few drug questions but not a ton. I read through the BRS twice and this file made by a Ross student three times. The file was basically a condensed BRS geared for the shelf. It had a drug section too. (this is NOT one of those illegal documents) I was able to get in the high 70's with that.

For that shelf, I watched some cartoons, and ate chicken.
That was all the prep I did.

Closter I love you.
Hows epidemiology? Is know specificity and senstivity enough, or do I need to know all the dumb equations, etc.
Is it even worth studying for it? or is it barely on it. is there a breakdown of it on some website?
674 points google is my friend, i tend to forget. No epidemiology, it makes me so happy...

510 points you can break 90 easily if you know brs well. doubt this can be done in a day, but if you looked at it through the semester, it shouldn't be a problem.
you are right about skipping epi.
510 points I got an A on the shelf by just knowing BRS. As for drug questions, the most in depth they will go is giving you a patient presentation....you'll have to make the diagnosis in your head and the question will be asking what drug you would give them. You may have a few primary questions (how does a benzo work) but that's not the majority of them. You'll need to regonize OCD or bulemia or bipolar or whatever and then know what drug to use. And there are def questions that are like the ones they talk about in DPS ("What would you say to this patient")....they're a joke. haha. GL tomorrow.
