Thread: MERP December 2008

This may be a bit early, but I just found out that I am the December '08 MERP class. This is like the previous threads, but with the hopes of concentrating information relating to the December class into one spot. Take care and Good luck to those who get in =)

hey was wondering what ur stats were for merp in december? was the sep class full or did u just want to go to dec? also when did u interview and when did u hear back?

Stats: MCAT=26, gpa=2.9 (science=2.7)

I interviewed on the 22nd, and it went into committee review on June 2nd, decision June 17th. I'd applied for the september 08 class, and was told by the interviewer that it was pretty much full, safe a few seats left, so I'd asked about the July 08 MERP or the December admission into the school. I guess my gpa just wasnt high enough to justify admission, but I am confident I will rock this MERP thing.

Well it's really not a gimme! You have to be accepted into the program!

I hope no one takes the MERP program as a joke, because they obviously don't. I was looking at the syllabus for the class and it's a pretty fast pace from day 1

i got in to dec merp too! =]

Can some one please explain the merp situation to me. I only half get it.

Do a search. I personally have explained it 5 or 6 times.

basically its a bootcamp for the borderline students to prove themselves.
