FINALLY DONE WITH MEDICAL SCHOOL!
ahhhhhhhhhh what an amazing feeling!!! today was my last day of rotations, and im finally closing the book on a long 4+ years. to everyone on the message board who was kind enough to offer their advice, thank you! and to all those still in the struggle, keep fighting through it...it is totally worth it!!!!

Yes, finishing 4th year is a great feeling especially when you have 8 months until the "real fun" starts. Enjoy your time off, its well earned.

congratulations, but do you mind to share why it took you 4+ years?
The one thing I am afraid to hear is because you were waiting for rotations. I am in 6th semester right now so it is imp. to know.

hey, yea there was some waiting on cores (peds and OB were the hardest to get), but that wasnt the main reason it took me 4+ years bc you can always fill in the time with other rotations. But i took a few months off after 5th semester in miami for step 1 and also bc it was the holiday season and i hadnt seen my family for more than 2 weeks at a time for the past 2 years, so i figured it was a good time to take a little break and have some QT with the fam. oh and i also went through MERP, so tack on another 3-4 months lol.
