Thread: When to start?

I am considering applying Ross and if accepted, I have a question: What semester do current students reccomend starting? I have read numerous threads about people encountering delays with rotations which in turn causes students to not have core rotaions out of the way before Step 2. Would starting a particular semester give more leadway if delays occur? I did a quick search on this, but didn't find what I was looking for. If anyone could share thier thoughts or point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

Start when it is most convenient for you right now. You may or may not encounter delays in clinicals regardless of when you start. It's constantly changing and your schedule depends on what is available when you get your step 1 scores back. Many things can happen between now and then.

Starting in Jan will give you the longest amount of time to do clinicals. Plus, I think the weather is the best from Jan to Apr (coolest and you don't instantaneously sweat by walking outside) and you'd be there for two Jan-Apr semesters.

Starting in Sept will give you the least amount of time to do clinicals and the biggest class to compete with for starting rotations.....
