Hi everyone,

I thought for the next semester I'd ship a barrel with some items/food that are hard/too expensive on the island. I'm shipping from NY using Laparkan and the instruction packets mentions I can't ship liquids? Anyone have any good/bad experiences shipping canned liquids (ie red bull, monster, soda, canned foods). Any insight or warnings would really help. Thanks

Does anyone know how to ship barrels from houston? I don't want to use UPS they are expensive as hell.

Amerijet has its main regional hub in Houston at the intercontinental airport. Call and ask them about their rates. I heard the shipping time is approx two weeks, and you pick up the merchandise at DOM airport. This is their houston number 281-670- 1100.

When shipping a barrel, what's the destination address to write down? Thanks.

Depends on the time of day.

i always shipped with Tropical Shipping ....use to ship 34 cubic feet worth of stuff for about 130$.

We used Tropical Shipping- way cheaper even if you get them to set up a pick up at your home. Good luck.

what does that mean.???

I just spoke to American Airlines. They allow 70 lbs combined check baggage weight, and no excess bags to dominica. ..that sucks big time
