Exclamation This makes no sense

It is said that one advantage to Ross is that it is supposed to be less expensive than US medical schools...well...I checked online...Ross is about 45k...US medical schools...well...a lot less. I may totally be missing something but I just thought it was strange.
p.s. still can't wait to go to Ross.

I think Harvard Medical School is about a third of 45, like 15 thousand a year. Why you ask? Because Harvard has many successful subspecialty surgeons and dermatologists alumni who gladly donate money back to Harvard Medical School. Harvard has an endowment in the billions, they can easily afford to give their students breaks when it comes to helping some do underserved work.

Would you as an alumni of Ross give back 100's of thousands of dollars like some Harvard Medical School Alumni have? Even so, DeVry is for profit so maybe they couldn't setup an endowment.

If you earned going to Harvard Medical School you a break in tuition because they hope you will donate back and you will be a big dog in medicine, i.e. department chair and basically they take care of their own.

There are private med schools in US that charge about what Ross does, because like Ross their alumni don't show them love and they have no endowment

its actually $38,600.00/year for harvard med. tuition. (yes, i have too much time on my hands)

but i think in general, university tuition is too high in the US. but that is probably why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

Hmmm, but Harvard Medical School gives out financial aid to perhaps 3/4 of its students (i.e. those who need it based on family income), to the tune of about $24,000 per year to cover living expenses. Has anyone got financial aid from Ross for living expenses in NY or taking boards or anything like that? No. Ok, so we will subtract the $24,000 from 38,000 and you get yikes! $14,000 per year. Purty good deal me say.

Subsidized Harvard Tuition:

14,000 x 4 years = $56,000 plus you have to pay to live in Boston for four years.

Ross Tuition (no financial aid as far as I know!)
38,000 x 4 = $152,000 Plus four years living expenses

I think I know what the better deal is.

Well it's simple then...just go to Harvard Medical school instead of the "Harvard of the Caribbean"

I don't think people would choose Ross over Harvard Med to just save money. NOw that doesn't make any sense.
