Attendance for incoming students
Our members don't see this ad.
So it doesn't take a large leap of logic to surmise that some professors will use these clickers (again that new students are REQUIRED to buy) to take attendence. Last edited by mmod; 05-07-2008 at 05:46 PM. |

The clickers were bought on campus, and done at the same time you had your computer set up with IT.
During orientation they said the clickers would only be used in order for instructors to judge how well they had tought a topic, or what needs to be gone over etc. |

by clickers... do you mean the turning point software?
if so... then you can't really take attendance with it because unless they make owning a laptop mandatory for students... which i don't think they would at this particular time. who knows what the future will bring. |

Laptop software- non-standardized platform. people have laptops configured in a bunch of different ways. in other words the software can go wrong in a bunch of different ways. Last edited by mmod; 05-07-2008 at 02:16 PM. |
