Thread: Repetition of the WHOLE semester?

Is this true: if a ROSS student fails even one subject (gets an average below 70%) but does better on the rest, they still have to repeat the ENTIRE semester? Is this true at all? What kind of class sizes do you guys have for Med 1?

Failing isn't below 70. It's below MPS (which is usually around the 60 mark or thereabouts, depends on the subject). Also, yes it's true. Class size of ~400 first semester.

MPS for Ross is between 55 and 65 but is usually around 58-62 (except DPS which is usually a little higher). If a student fails even ONE class they do have to repeat the entire semester. If they fail 3 or more classes, they are dismissed. Class size in 1st semester is now around 450-500.

Incorrect. The current first semester class is ~410. If you have something other than rumor to show 450-500 students in first semester, I'd love to see it.

I apologize. I am not currently on the island but have been told of that estimate from several friends in semesters 1-4. Do you have the PBL list? Does it say 410 on it? If so, that's the amount there. I also wanted to point out there is a nice way to correct people, especially because I do my best to post correct info.
