Thread: Which One to Choose?

Ok, so after much research, I've narrowed it down to SGU, AUC and ROss.

Which one of these fine establishments should I choose to get my medical education? I know Ross has difficulties with Clinicals, but to what extent is this true??

If you had done enough research you would not be asking this question. If I answer this question I would be depriving you the reasons (which are long) of the decision. Visit each university's board and search, you will find many many threads doing these comparisons.

I am just looking for opinions. If you didnt feel like correctly answering my question, why did you waste your time in typing your 3 sentences?

When choosing schools you must consider many factors. There will be positives and negatives for each school. Choose the school that offers the positives you want and has negatives you are willing to live with. This is key here on Dominica. I personally like Ross I think it does a fine job as a medical school and preparing us. A positive of Ross is that I get off the island after 4 semesters and a negative at Ross is the location itself doesn't have much to offer as far as the other schools (more modern establishments, different recreational options). There are many more in all aspects, but all three schools would generally be a good choice. Just, if you pick Ross, make sure you can handle living on this island (visit beforehand or look at videos, talk to friends). Some people leave because of this.

how do you get off after 4 semesters? where do you go after that ?

OK if you don't want to search then don't. Just that searching will give you much more info in a much shorter time. this topic has been discussed a lot recently so the info is not old. Just though you'd want your info quick.

Towards the top there is the word search, click on it, type in a key word or to and you're done!
