Lawsuit pending against Ross?

Is there anyone on here who DOESN'T know someone who has slipped on that ten foot trail leading from Ross Blvd to Annex? I'm curious to know how many wounded have signed in at the clinic. Of course, it would probably be an enormous expenditure to put some wood or stones there, and that money is better spent on 5 security guards to listen to the radio and police the drivers who bring you food. Oh, and to guard that symbolic soda & coffee machine - did you know those machines are cheaper to buy than they are to refill? I heard in 2009 they're going to buy an empty candy machine. I can't wait for that low fat alternative.

When I read the title I thought Ross was being sued by a clinical student.

Dude, thats not an official path to the Annex. It would be like suing Ross because you took a shortcut through the jungle and were attacked by snakes... if you dont like the path, go the way you are supposed to.

If it is a path that many students take than an argument can be made that it is an official path. This would be especially true if many students have been hurt and the school is aware of the "danger" of the path.

Just because many people uses p2p, doesn't make it legal.

^ Hahahaha. Yea, sorry summerwind your logic is sorta illogical.

Also, I've used that path many a time, at my own risk because it is kind of steep. But, I'm aware that I'm using it at my own risk. Sheesh people. Mountains out of mole hills.

Ooohh... sorry. I thought it belonged to the school, I didn't realize it was 10 feet of jungle between the road and building. My bad.
No wonder they don't want to put rocks there. I can't see why any number of real injuries would motivate them, if they're not technically liable. When I'm at home I leave banana peels around my mailbox- three mailmen killed to date, and I'm untouchable LOL! Stupid mailmen should learn to wear cleats.

Again just curious, but did anyone notice that a HUGE MOUND of SMALL ROCKS was dumped in the parking lot right in front of Annex? They're so pretty there next to the food stall. Those are probably reserved though, right... that's the only logical conclusion.

Yeah I'm whining, stop whining about it...!

We are talking about a student suing Ross in a US court.....US lawyers can make the connection.

If the path is on Ross property and students are using it as a way to get to the Annex from the road then Ross is responsible. They need to make the path as student friendly as possible or put up a sign not to use the path or "use at your own risk". Ross has notice of the probability of injury to students using this path.
