I stand corrected... Thanks for checking the facts Papya...

What I meant was that there were people passing classes at AUA even with A's and B's and got less than 54 on their shelves. They ended up failing all the classes and got kicked out. Yes it happens. I was surprised to hear about it too.

Guess they learned their lesson. Sept 07 class was 300-350 (not sure exact but more than 300) and lots were dismissed...and quite a few of those were peeps dismissed earlier from St. George's and Ross too...so now they have multiple dismissals...

WORK HARD GUYS!!!

Yeah, thanks for that munchies. In any case, thanks for the information about AUA. I just arrived here and I'm pretty far behind. AUA isn't exactly paradise if you fail out. It is incredibly difficult, though as far as their curriculum goes, first semester looks much easier.

I would like to say though, people at Ross, don't ever get into this situation. Even though there is hope, don't lose yourself in wasteful activities. Study hard and don't mess up. Laville and all of them made fun of me for being "overqualified for this university, but obviously underqualified to be a doctor." Appealing and talking to them puts you in a lot of mental abuse.

Snapdragon was spreading false rumors

Snapdragon was spreading lies about schools' numbers and dismissed students .

Just hate it when the forums turn into a cesspool of false rumors and baseless accusations .

raphael-

Stay strong in the process, don't let what you heard during the appeal process affect your desire to work hard and become the physician you desire to be.

I think a lot of people on this forum, including myself, who don't know you, really want you to succeed, so keep at it, hang in there, and remember you can overcome this if you work hard enough & stay focused, and no partying at AUA, cherish this 2nd chance.

I believe it's for semesters 1-4, meaning you must finish the island in a maximum of 6 semesters (repeating no more than 2 times)

Hi all,

I am very sorry that this happened to you, and I hope that everything is working out for you now.

I was just a bit curious about the future. What happens when one goes to apply for residences and all? Knowing that you have transfered doesn't it go on your transcript and make it harder for residences?

Yes. Be prepared to answer why.
