MAY 2008-Acceptance Thread

Hey,
Just got accepted to the May 2008 program. I am from Sacramento, CA and went to UCDavis for undergrad. I am now living in Los Angeles. Anyone looking for a roommate in Dominica?

im not sure if this is against ToS, if it is sorry -- unintentional, but:

those who are accepted to the May 08 program and are members of facebook there's a group on facebook, Ross University SOM May 2008, if you could join that so we could get more in touch with those going there it would be great!...it would also be another great way to get in touch with those who are not members of valuemd...i have also placed a link on that group for valuemd...

Congrats to everyone! I'm 24F, living in Northern California (Bay Area) originally from LA. I was accepted for Jan '08, but deferred to May '08. I'm super stoked about finally starting med school and meeting everyone!! I was accepted back in September and still have not received my welcome packet. I talked to my student coordinator and she informed me that that we start sending them out sometime in January, so don't worry, it's coming. If you're curious, there's a post it somewhere on this site where someone posted an old welcome packet that they scanned from 2004 I think. It's pretty much the same I believe. You can take a look at it if you're curious. I'd recommend looking at it to anyone who still needs to be vaccinated against Hep A and Hep B. Anyways, is anyone else from the Bay? Can't wait to meet everyone!

Congratulations! I currently work here in Los Angeles and went to UCLA for undergrad. I will be interviewing for May 2008 in two weeks. Hopefully, I'll get to join you all for this next class! Any good tips for interviewing in Irvine?

I interviewed for the May semester on Nov. 14th and got an acceptance call from them Nov. 28th (yay!). I also got accepted to MUA earlier this year, and I deferred until May. I dished out over a grand for MUA, so now I'm a little bitter over that, but I'm definitely choosing Ross, so I'll see you all in May?

I'm from Chicago. Anyone from the area?
