I purchased mine from Island Thrift. Welcome to Island Thrift I have read posts from some students on here and they recommend that you wait until you get onto the island. You can purchase them used from students. But if you're one that can't wait, like me, I would recommend Island thrift. Their prices are comparable to amazon and those sites. Carly is very helpful and they have a buddy program. I was paired up with a fourth semester student and she was extremely helpful! She helped me weed through first semester books and review books that she recommended. They also send the books to the island for you which will save you from bringing them in your suitcase since the airlines limit the amount of weight you are allowed to bring on the plane. I wouldn't recommend buying in the states and taking them with you. Hope that helps! See you in May!

See yall in May 08 . Just wondering, how long did it take after gaining admission to receive your admissions packet? And what date are most of you planning to fly to the island (or do they tell u that in the admissions packet?). Later guys!

I'm leaving San Juan to Dominica at 12:45pm on Monday, April 28. I'm flying red eye the night before from LAX into JFK and then into San Juan at like 7am so I won't be staying the night. But maybe we'll run into each other in San Juan!
