hey erp...
is it a husband/wife couple that does the laundry? when i was 1st semester, there were the 2 roomates that were renting a car from them. they ended up crashing the car in front of the school and left it there, never paying for the samage lol. u should ask them about it, was hillarious.

With about 400 students per semester, and a good deal of young'ens fresh out of undergrad, you're bound to get some kids that are still rough around the edges.
I've been fortunate to meet some real mature, goal-directed, driven, and talented students here. People that really and truly impress me. But statistically, in a group that big, there's gonna be those few who gotta make trouble. And I guess you have to pick them out early, and just stay clear. It's also attitudes like that, I'm assuming, that have soured some of the locals to us students. But I don't let it phase me too much. I say my hellos, my good mornings, my pleases, and my thank yous, and for the most part, I get a good response. You just have to keep on keepin' on... |

Just a note to let you know that if you don't care for someone's posts, you can set your preferences to "ignore" the user, and their posts won't show up...or you can just visually skip them and not read them. Rudeness qualifies as a TOS violation.

Whatever you do, do NOT bring your own transformers. They are heavy and you can buy them in Dominica. Definately do NOT buy a converter as those are only meant to last for a few uses. Some apartments have what they called supplied 110v, which is basically a built in transformer so you will have 110v outlets in addition to all the 220v. Other places you need to buy a transformer.
