Housing for 1st term students?
I was applying to St. George but I'm thinking I also ought to apply to Ross. I hear alot about clinical year problems, etc., but one major problem I have with St. George is that you're Required to live on campus in your first year and that means sharing rooms with people. I don't think I can do that. NO way. I also hear tuition is cheaper at Ross. I might also be able to get into Ross earlier. Anyhow, how is the rooming situation at Ross? I know someone who goes there who told me he was able to live off campus. Is that the general rule? You can live where you want?

There is no "on-campus" housing at Ross. Ross University Housing is dorm-style housing owned by Ross that is available to first-semester students if they want it. There's not enough room for all new students, though, and they are all single-occupancy. There are plenty of apartments around and some people do have roommates, but I would say that most live alone. Apartments closest to campus are generally a little more expensive, but that's not always the case.
