Thread: Why did you choose Ross?

Not to incite a riot, but I am curious. With all of the complaining going on, why did you choose Ross in the first place. I am sure the complaints are valid.

What attracted you to Ross compared with other Caribbean Schools?

Less time on the Island compared to other schools?

Less expensive?

Better Reputation? (All 50 States)

Other?

I hate to be a contrarian, but I did NOT choose Ross because of the class size and the clinical situation.

On the other hand, I would have chosen it for its reputation and the 16 months on the island.

My post explained why I did not choose Ross.

It is funny that you mention detective work McGill >>LOL, as it seems that as far back as the forum will let you search you have been commenting on Ross's flaws, as if you were experiencing them firsthand. As a matter of fact, I remember reading your mostly negative toned posts since before I came to Ross, when I was shopping around. Your "advice" was always given (rather liberally I might add) as if you were a Ross student who had already jumped through the hoops. Why are you patrolling the Ross forums if you aren't a student or possible student? Which School do you go to, or do you even go to medical School in the first place? More importantly, have you spent any time on Dominica to back all of these fantastic opinions that you thrust out so often.
It really makes you wonder as to the validity of many of those who post on this site.
As for anyone who wonders about me, Im a 3rd semester at Ross, and have actually experienced the things I talk about.

I was actually planning on Ross for most of the time, so you are lying your butt off when it comes to the negative posts. I defended Ross most of the time.

Not trying to start a war. For those who attend Ross or attended Ross...why. Especially to those current Ross students who have been complaining (your complaints are valid)...why did you choose Ross.
