Thread: Average Time To Wait For Acceptance After Interview

I was just wondering how long everyone who has been accepted had to wait after their interview to get the call.

I had my interview on April 24th, and they'd initially told me that I'd hear back in 2-3 weeks. I didn't hear back until yesterday (June 6th) because, apparently, the admissions committee went on vacation after my interview.

Congratulations (If appropriate)! That is a long time though. Did you call them at all in the mean time?

Thanks (hooray MERP - probably what I need anyway)! Yeah, I nagged the guy who interviewed me. I mean, I probably really annoyed him. Since I interviewed in Miami, I also called the NJ office and tried to see what they had. They told me to call my interviewer, but I asked if they could just check my status. I gave the guy my SSN, and he said my file was still in review.

But this is just my experience - I've seen postings where people actually do hear back within about 2 weeks.
