avoid it. I remember there was some issues about its accredidation a few months ago or lack there of.

Could be a rotation that bites in you the bum later.

Did these "issues" affect you personally? If so, could you please elaborate on what these issues were? I'm scheduled to begin a rotation at this hospital next month. Any information will be appreciated.

no, not me personally but a few friends. People doing the rotation were told that the rotation was done through Lutheran Hospital. You do nothing at the hospital. Hospital does not endorse the pediatrician to teach students.

From what I understand, a former student went for licensure. When they called the hospital, they hospital had no knowledge of the student. The hospital did not back up the doctor's assertions. I heard you will follow the pediatrician in the hospital from time to time and maybe go to a lecture. But no more than that.

Maybe the doc has a deal wth JPH now, I don't know. But I think a fair amount of people who rotated through there might have licensure problems in the future. If you can locate a different rotation site, that would be my advise.

That is correct, the pediatrician now has a deal with JPH. He related to us all the problems that Lutheran General and former students had.

thanks

Thanks for elaborating Bevo. Not sure if I'll have any success securing a core rotation on short notice, but the grapevine tells me my clinical advisor no longer works for Ross, so I may have an outside shot! Hopefully his contract with JPH is legit in case I have to rotate there.
