Lawsuit against Ross???
I keep reading little spatterings in the various threads about students possibly bringing forth a lawsuit against Ross, the latest threat in the "ross moving on up--thread". LOL! I say, put your money where your mouth is! LOL.
We all know that the Clinical Department stinks. Heads should roll. But what can you really prove in a lawsuit? Can you prove negligence or just incompetence? Can you prove actually damages? Can you prove intent? I'm wondering if students out there can prove anything in writing, if at all (not with anecdotes, but actual data). Lost wages, lost rent moneys due to cancelled rotations, lost paperwork for timely funding, loss of interest from loans being released late, loss of....you get the point. If so, and it is legitimate...are Ross students willing to chip in and help out with the lawsuit? How much is a competent Ross admin worth to you? I'm afraid the current Clinical Department will not change otherwise. And yes, Wilcrews...I saw your post, if you brought a legitimate class-action lawsuit against Ross to help change Ross for the better, I'd put my money where my mouth is and help out with legal fees. I'd bet many other frustrated alums and students would chip in. |

oh i didn't completely read what he wrote. My rant, as a prospective student, was to take action for changes by getting in touch of the higher ups in the administration. Maybe I'm being naive about the whole thing and its been done but to no avail...but lawsuits won't work for that sort of thing. screw it...just have to deal with it when the time comes.

I said consultation
For the record, I said I am not far from seeking a consultation from an attorney, if seeking a legal consultation equals a lawsuit in your opinion, then so be it...
Biting the hand that feeds you is not easy, and would take a lot of courage! Simply stated, I think listing 58 clinical sites on the website, and then being told the only thing available this year is at Wyckoff is disingenuous. Is it illegal? I do not know. Quote:

Although I have graduated already, I have no problems helping out a good cause. Like it or not, I am a Ross grad and it is bad for everyone when alumni are disenfranchised by the school. If you can bring about change, I'm sure you will find support. |
