is honey available on the island? I am not concerned about the brand, just any good quality honey will do.

You can get honey in Dominica and if you go to the market you can get fresh honey!

colored stethoscopes
Does anybody know, is it unprofessional to have a colored stethoscope? I mean a color besides black or navy blue? It's just that those colors are so boring. I was thinking of purchasing a plum colored one. Not a good idea? Thanks!

My doctor has a burgundy colored one. i don't think it matters.

No, but I highly highly recommend them otherwise you are going to have some clothes that pick up some pretty terrible smells and every now and again some bodily fluids. At least with scrubs, you won't care!

Most things will be expensive on the island (especially from the bookstore). You'll save a few bucks if you buy them online in the states.
