Why would you apply for two semesters? You apply for the one you want and if the class is full (and you get accepted) you get pushed to the next semester.

Hey Guys,

I was just wondering if I should apply to Ross. These are my stats
Undergrad GPA: 2.3
MCAT: 28R
Loads of extracurricular and community involvement.
Research experience as well: volunteer for a semester in a cognitive neurosci lab and just got a research job in a hospital for the summer.

I know I should just apply and see, but my GPA is quite low. Any advice would be appreciated.

More importantly what is your scienceGPA (chem, physics, bio, math etc)? You may get MERPed for that GPA, however your MCAT is as strong point. Might as well apply, it won't hurt.

I got a 2.9 GPA and a 15 in the MCAT. I got Merped, but it is still a very good option, I'm accepting!!

Is Ross for Me - Chance?
I have a 3.5 overall GPA and 3.4 BCPM GPA, with a 33R MCAT. I'm debating whether its worth it to spend so much money on applying to US schools and risk sitting out for a year if I don't get accepted or if it would be wise to just apply straight to Ross or SGU and bypass applying to US schools. Any advice?

are u kidding me..trust me its worth applying to US medical schools and DEF apply to DO schools...i mean caribbean shoudl be ur last option..and if so..it shoudl be SGU, Ross and AUC...but def apply to US medical school and DO schools first
