yay! i got a phone call this morning! But i have another question...he asked me if i would be interested in the May class instead of the September and told me to think about it and let him know the day of the interview. Are there any advantages to choosing the May instead of Sept or vice versa?

I would start in may because if you start in may, you graduate in august of 2011, and directly go into residency. If you start in sep you, graduate in december and might have to wait till the following year to start residency. you can do some extra electives but you end up wasting an extra year.May is better.

i have an interview in Chicago with l*****in april. Has anyone ever interviewed with her? Should I be concerned or nervous about it? How can I prepare? What typical questions do they ask? Thanks

Read the interview thread. There are some general questions that you should be able to answer, no matter who interviews you. Read the thread, i think that should help you.
good luck

Great to hear how seriously they take the interview process. I can't say the same for some of their competitors that I have interviewed with. That's why they are one of the best two Caribbean schools. Really hoping to get in for September '08 or January '09. And there is no question that anyone who is lucky enough to get interviewed should wear a suit - you would be an idiot not to be dressed appropriately for this; it should be treated like the biggest job interview of your life.

After the interview, how long does it take for the committee to review it all?
I've been under committee review since 01/28 and I'm getting paranoid.

I think it depends on what semester you applied for and how many apps they're still processing.

I applied for September '08 in July....interviewed in mid-October and was accepted in early November....I was surprised I found out that quickly since I'm sure they were swamped with January applications.

If you're really getting paranoid....you could always call the NJ office and see what's up.
