    Chest X-Ray

I just found out my insurance will not cover a chest x-ray for the visa requirements because it is not required. Are there places that offer x-rays for cheap? These x-rays are ridiculously expensive.

A lot of the Urgimed Clinics in our area offer Xray services in their facilities. You might want to pick up the phone book and let your fingers do the walking. Some communities have TB screening centers offering services to underinsured and uninsured people. You might want to find out if you qualify for getting service from one of them if your city offers it.

did you go to your physician and ask for a referral? generally mine doesnt cover the chest x-ray for travel abroad either, but my physician put that it was required for school and it was cleared for me.

I went to the campus health centre (my college) to do mine. It costs me $40 since I have no insurance
