Does anyone have any opinions on Lucy Inn/Villas? It says it's 3-4 minutes walk from campus and looks pretty new. How's the landlord?

So Ross sent out an email to us expected sept. 08 people, giving us that 50% discount on first semester if we move up our start date to May - I'm all for saving money and getting a headstart, but do you guys think I'll have any options in MAy for housing? That's right around the corner.

I would go for it..why not save 5-6 grand while you can...plus you'll hav a head start

In regards to housing, don't worry, there will be plenty left...plus the may class is slightlys maller than the sept class, so less demand

There is always more housing than students. It's not all GOOD housing but there is still plenty left right now!

based upon housing research and reading the threads and opinions on vmd would it be wise to reserve (pay deposit) the "good" housing or just blindly wait untill I hit the rock to gamble? Almost everyone on here adviced to wait untill I get there.. but then if all the "good" housing is gone by the time I get there.. then that would not make sense.. any advice on that?

If you want a place among the "good" housing (which is generally the more expensive housing as well) then put a deposit down ahead of time. The "good" housing is called that for a reason so it is safer to deal with. If you do not want the "good" housing then I would recommend waiting until you get to the island to see what's left.
