Housing

I really appreciate the info Dru! Do you know anything about James Store Apartment, S&B Apartments, Harry Langlais Apartment, Valena Hill Apartments, G & J Diggs Apartment, or Mamies Sulphur Springs Apartments?

A friend lived in Sulfur Springs. Tons of mosquitos, insects. I'd stay away from it if I were you.

Hi how is everyone doing?

I will be attending Sept 05 class and thought devos alexander apt looks and sounds pretty good to me as well. It locates in Picard. only 5 min walking distance to campus. has generator. $500/month, Dsl and cable are included in the rent. and it has a large, i mean really large bedroom compared to others ie Safari. and it looked clean from those photos. it sounds too good to be true though.

upper termers, please help by letting me know whether that is a really good choice as it is sound. Thanks a lot!

I heard glanvillia is a little bit too far from campus.

Amenity Apartments

Maricar82,

I just moved out of Amenity at the end of April when I left Dominica to come to Miami, (wish I was still there!). I lived there for the entire time I was on the island, and I considered it my home away from home. The owner is a very nice and HONEST gentlemen who is very accomadating to the people who rent from him. I beleive he goes out of way to make his tenants feel as at home as possible. I can honestly say that living in Amenity was one of the best things to happen to me during my time in Dominica. I would live there again in a heartbeat. If you want anymore info feel free to PM me and I would be glad to respond.

Best Wishes,
E.S.

I would ask that you only include the TITLE of the APARTMENT or HOUSING. If it happens to include a proper name of the owner, it will not be edited, since it is a BUSINESS NAME. If you post the specific name of the landlord/lady, you would be violating TOS, but business names are OK. You could include the location, amount of rent cost, what is inclusive in the costs (amenities), walking distance to the campus, security, construction details, outside lighting, and best of all...your OPINION of the place (using professional language).

If future posts regarding the subject are posted on their own, they will be locked and linked to this thread. I hope this eases and assists you in your search for housing on the rock. Good luck to all of you.
