where is where

This is the best map on the internet, but it does not include the trails.

It can be found at

http://www.skyviews.com/dominica/mapportsmouth.html

The relationship of the trails the to campus can best be seen on:

There are positive and negative posts about Mac and Judy Apartments that are worth your review. Please see:

don't be confused

never2late:

The Ross housing site is 1000% better then it wa in April 2003 when my son was looking for housing. They have pictures of the places and better descriptions. The best areas to live if you can afford it is on Lizzard trail and lower Banana trail. Close to school, many nice places. If you live further away you may have to venture hills, transports to get to school. Glanvilla is a little far to walk to school.

Thanks

From another thread

Fox Trot says:

"Look for places on Moo Cow trail. I lived there for my 4 semesters and only paid $375 for an apt while other students I know were paying $700+ for apartments just like what I was living in. It's only about a 7 min walk from there to school. With my DSL of $90 USD/month and electricity of only $100 USD/month, I lived pretty cheaply my 4 semesters on the island and saved alot of money which I'm needing alot to get settled in Miami."

Moo cow trial

Thanks for the map. I looked at the web site for housing on moo cow trail but there is only one listing. 4bd apt for $1400. Would you suggest waiting until I get to the island and go to moo cow trail to get housing or stick with the list Ross provides?

It has always been strongly recommended that students wait until they get down there to reserve their housing, so they can see what they're getting. This past semester it was announced that Ross wanted students to reserve places site-unseen. I know the housing site has significantly improved, but I'd be interested in the latest recommendations from the students who are there. In the past there was more than enough housing to pick from, and it was important to not send money or pick one until you clould see what you were getting.
