yea first semester classes are held in the annex. check out the maps sticky to see where the annex is. I think someone labeled it...i'm not sure...but its a rectangular building down the street from the campus.

RUH is about a 15 minute walk to the Annex. They do have a bus that will pick you up in the morning to take you to the Annex. But, just so there are no surprises, RUH is a very small dorm like room with no kitchen. If you do plan on doing any cooking I recommend looking for an apartment. Lizard Trail and Moo Cow are both roads that are close to the Annex with Lizard Trail being a few minutes closer to campus.

Hey,
We live in dominica right now, currently we are living in Glanvilla and it is not bad when going to the annex, but my husband is in 2nd semester now and he spends a lot of time at school. So for mext semester we are moving closer to Mrs. Coll's. They are orange apartments up banana trail, just past Tomatoes. I just signed a lease today. If you want the phone number let me know. There are 3 floors and 2 buildings. 1 building is 2 bedroom apartments and the other is singles. The ground floor is 650 us, sencond floor 750 , third 850 Don't quote me on the prices, but I know we are paying 750. It over looks the bay and it is beautiful.

So RUH is not right by the Annex? The main reason I was going to live there was to be close to the Annex for my first semester. About how far is the Annex from the main campus? and which apartments are within a short walking distance from campus? Thanks so much for the help!

It does indeed look nice, includes a microwave, kitchen ware, even a george foreman grill to some people, which all Avie's doesn't provide. The tile on the floor is also superb compared to anywhere else, almost looking like some kind of textured marble. Does it get hot in the summer, if you're one of the upperclassmen?
Yeah, I am likely one of the 6 of 8. Now you know, I can't comment on the weather in the summer...but if the last two nights are any indication, it's getting hotter.

Nope, RUH is not right by the Annex.

RUH, the main campus and the annex are all on the same road. However, the campus is between RUH and the Annex. The annex is like a 10 minute walk from campus (just a guess). If you're coming from RUH, tac on another 5 minutes or so. There are shuttles from campus, RUH and many other locations that take first semester students to the annex each morning.

Ive looked over the housing website, but it does not list all the apartments. I just wanted some input from students about apartments within a short walking distance to campus. Thanks so much!
