Thread: Resource for Clinicals

Drug Reps are a good resource for inside track for clinicals (peds). Attendings general like them and they treated to nice dinners so an extra student sometimes is no big deal. As a third year student doing core clinicals I helped a nurse lift and transfer a patient. She thought that was very nice and I told her I might have to go to New York for OB-Gyn. She told me her best friend was a secretary for the head of OB-Gyn at Mount Sinai in Cleveland. I know this sounds like a line from Ferris Bueller. Three weeks later I am rotating next to Case Western students. You have to be willing to ask for favors because the clinicals are in short supply.

so is this just a random thought or something, or were you responding to somebody elses post?

it on a clinical forum. So I thought I would share success I had. I did 90 weeks in a row without missing a beat. And my fellow class mates used to call me for clinical advice. The green book was my bible. Just kidding but I was very knowledgable about my options. I went to norwich CT only set up ross gave me. My reasoning free housing we used to stay at dorms for Psych.
