That leaves one criticisms.

hrmmmm

I dont know if I'm really all that impressed with the match. Sure a few good institutions were matched at.

but 3 rads reported.

I guessing 4 or 5 anesthesia spots reported (the way they listed it is confusing).

2 ortho spots.

2 path spots.

good number of matches in EM.

Surgery, while competitive, has more spots than those mentioned above

I understand that all of this are just those who self reported and I know of 3 people who matched aren't listed above.

1 UCLA for anesthesia, 1 Rads at Einstein NYC, 1 Psych.

And what is a bit more troubling for me is that included some pretty large classes. I think when the classes really started reaching 300+ people.

I think this list is pretty complete b/c it is not self reported (Ross must have actually bought the list). I know this b/c I matched and noone from Ross has inquired where and I am on the list. Also, the Anesthesia at UCLA is on the list I believe (under Harbor UCLA if I am not mistaken).

As far as Rads...I think rads was not as competetive this year as the past..according to match stats there were about the same amount of scramble spots in rads as er...and less for anesthesia. So I think a Ross grad w/ decent scores can get it. I know that one of the hospitals I rotated at in rads encouraged me to apply, but I could never do rads (too each his own).

All the categorical surgery spots are impressive b/c surgery was very competitive.
