quality of ROSS professors

How would you rate the quality of the professors at ROSS(with 1 being the worst and 10 being the highest).

Im not expecting to meet any Emeritus or internationally acclaimed scholars during my time at ROSS. But do they have any standards? Aare the professors approachable and willing to help you out? During the lectures, do they just read word for word from the powerpoint slide, or do they take the time to actually explain the information being presented in the lecture?

Like most schools, the professors vary. There are some really good ones who can make anything easy to understand, and then there are those that just read off the handout you got at the start of class. (I won't name any) However, this is like my first impression of them after a handful of lectures. (I just started in Jan06)

Great professors, bad teachers. There is no doubt that the professors at Ross are highly knowledgable in their respective fields, but there are only a handful that are effective teachers. All the professers are however very approachable, and do care for students. Expect to attend many "reading of powerpoint" lectures (not neccessarily a bad thing). Nonetheless, Rely On Self Study.

I thought the best professors were the ones that taught Micro, Pharmacology, and one particular professor that is probably retired now that taught Pathology. The info you learn in those classes is stuff you'll come across alot in clinical rotations.

Since we can't name professors on this site, we can go here:
