Hello, I am scheduled for Peds core at Wyckoff for July 7th, 2008. I would like to know if any body would be interested in trading my peds july rotation for your june peds rotation (ANY hospital would do). Thanks, please get in contact with me, 347-768-2018. Ask for Jay.

Good luck to everyone else.

Anyone need a place to live while doing rotations at Brookdale, Maimonides, or King's County. I'm currently doing my rotations at Brookdale and then Maimonides and King's County and my place is close to all of them. Located in Kensington, partially furnished(futon and wardrobe), 2 bedroom share with very larger bright bedroom for you. Steps to anything you'd need(restaurants, grocery, shops, laundromat). Very clean place with the rest of the apartment furnished. Steps to the subway and buses to all of these hospitals in the safest neighborhood in Brooklyn. Call Omar at 646-761-7916 or email at omarelghawanmeh(at)hotmail.com

Can anyone give me some updated info on the peds rotation at brookdale. I know it's been discussed but anything new from someone who is there now or recently finished would be helpful.

In short, it hasnt changed much. The mandatory "signout" is still at 3PM as of May 2008....and he still doesnt show up till later. Signout on thursday is at 1:00(but he still shows up late) . But you HAVE to make sure you go.

you have to do a power point, 2 exams, and a writeup

Hi everyone. I'm scheduled for Psych and IM at Brookdale University Hospital. I was just wondering if anyone will be so kind as to provide some information regarding Brookdale. How are Psych and IM rotations there? Just how bad is the area? Have ppl had good/bad experiences? For those students who have rotated at WHMC in Brooklyn and Brookdale, which is better for rotations?

I know I have a lot of questions... But thanks for any imput you provide.

Question Neurology Elective

Hi,
I am scheduled to do a neurology elective at Brookdale hospital later this month. Has anyone done neuro at this hospital? If so, what's the rotation like? How is the teaching? What are the hours like? Please let me know.

Thanks!
