I have rotated with SUNY Downstate med students and Mt. Sinai med students.

The Downstate students are the biggest group of stuck-up dorks I've ever encountered. A bunch of tools.

The Sinai students were super-cool.

Just finished there. Hours sucked, attendings were jerks and the residents/interns were just angry at the world and took it out on us. It sucked bad. I took the train/bus, but if they strike next week we all screwed. The place made me sick.the patients that were havin kids wanted nothin to do with them and nobody includin the docs cared. It really,really sucked bad. On the plus side its only 5 and a half weeks cause they cut you out on tuesday of week 6.If I could do it again I would do it anywhere but there.Good luck.Really-good luck.

schedule is 7-6 0r7 q4 IF there enough students. we went down to q3 for 2 weeks.

Question Sub-Internship in Surgery
I am interested a sub-internship in surgery at Brookdale. Does anyone have any experiences that they would like to share that may be helpful?

anyone do the psych rotation at brookdale? I heard they have a psych residency there so I was wondering how the rotation was. Also, are there any free electives there?
