I myself and other students before me stayed in the Extended Stay in Ramsey (10min drive). Compared to the 1 - 2 hour commute most students made it was totally worth it. Also if you need a place at the last minute and dont want to search on craigslist, tha works too.
Price wise...it was $75/nite. Plus wireless internet is free

The only thing that sucks about the area(state) is that gas isnt self serve...which was news to me. I think the state should totally do away with "full service" gas stations.....

As for the rotation...lol no comment. I thought the week you spend in ER was more than worth it and I learned the most there. But I didnt care for the other 5 weeks. But this seems like one of those rotations where public opinion is totally 50/50.

Considering New Jersey has some of the lowest priced gas in the country what is so bad with full service especially in the winter when it is cold and the wind is howling?

did you try the "Extended Stay" in Ramsey? If time is winding down, then thats your best bet.

As for singer....very true I agree with that. What would be ideal is to have "full" service during the winter only(Im from michigan). But I dont think it would be worth it for year round. Still much quicker to drive thru with a credit card. Maybe it was just Ramsey but all the stations I went to were always backed up because of the full service...

But... does having "full" service gas stations have any impact on oil prices regionally?

I saw that you posted at the end of May but no one has answered regarding the rotation at bergen. Have you talked to anyone about it or have you started it? I'm also going crazy looking for information about this rotation because I am buying a house in NJ and would like to do as many rotations in NJ as possible. any luck?
