My brother is a Ross University medical student, and I know how hard it is traveling to different parts of the country to complete your rotations. I am located in North Beach Maryland (Calvert County), a 45 min drive to Baltimore or DC and only minutes away from Prince George Hospital and Annapolis. My brother lived with me for 6 weeks when he rotated at St. Elizabeth's in DC. I have a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath townhouse that is located a half mile from the beach. I am extremely flexible regarding short term renting and will pro-rate your stay if needed. I will require a security deposit that you will get back. You will have access to the entire house except my room in the basement. Rent is $600 and includes everything. There are two bedrooms located on the second floor. You will have the larger bedroom that has a private bathroom, the other bedroom is a spare bedroom that I will NOT be renting out. Your room has a full size bed, desk with chair, dresser, and a 32 inch television. What your rent includes: All Utilities (yes, everything, AC included as well b/c it's central air) Wireless Internet Cable TV (with HBO and Showtime) Washer and Dryer Townhouse has Dishwasher, Microwave, Electric Grill on back patio Phone with Unlimited Long Distance anywhere in the United States And a parking space Living room has a 42inch plasma tv with a leather couch that has two recliners in it. As for me, I am a State Trooper and work on a rotating schedule so I am always working. As for you, you MUST BE CLEAN, Trustworthy, and pick up after yourself, i.e. don't leave dishes in the sink or pots on the stove with food in it, and when you move out leave a clean bathroom). The community I live in is quiet and the place is perfect for studying. If your interested please email me at jac51pc@comcast.net , also I can email you pictures if you'd like to see the place. |

I would have to say that Cuando is right, during rush hour if you live in GreenBelt it may take 25-30 minutes to get to PGH. The rental in question is about three times as far away and not near the beltway or a major highway (Greenbelt is), I would guess it would take you about 1.5 hours or maybe more to get out there during rush hour in am, you would have to leave around 5 am to get to PGH by 7:30 am, worth it maybe if you get free rent, but probably not if you don't. It can't be 45 minute to Baltimore or DC as DC is easily 45 minutes from Greenbelt, and Baltimore is much further, buyer beware!

That's actually not true guys. Your only on the belt for a couple of miles. Most of it is through route 4 which there is no traffic on it between 6-7am. Granted it is a little far for PG hospital, however, like I said, my brother lived here when he went to St. Elizabeth's which mapquest says is 45 min, and he made it 30 min everyday, and 45 at 5pm in rush hour. I apologize, I screwed up PG with Calvert county hospital.
Regardless, the deal I offer is better than most of the deals you'd get elsewhere. |
