begining 3rd yr
I have a question for you and everyone else that's now into or beyond their 3rd year. Is it really possible to get all green rotations back to back if you are willing to jump around the country? I'm married and would prefer to do all green rotations in one area, or between 2 areas, but that does not seem possible if I want to end on time and make the match.
So I've been told if I want to get all green and finish on time I'll need to move around alot. But I've heard rumors that even if you are willing to move for all greens, you may still have up to a month in between certain rotations. What's the truth? |

call schedule depends on the intern you're assigned to, you get a new intern every 10 days. long call is usually till about 9 or 10 pm. short call means you have to be there at 7 am. you will get scheduled for a 10 day block of night float while you are there. As far as weekends go if your intern is scheduled for the weekend, its up to them to decide if you have to come in or not.
