Family in tow

One of the students said he was assigned a clinical site that allowed him to complete all core rotations being that he had a family. I was wondering, is this common? I will be attending Ross Jan '08 and will be joined by a family of four as well.

Canadian clinicals

Has anyone at Ross done clinicals in Canada? And, if so, where? Please PM. Many thanks.

in the same city, possible.. in the same hospital, unlikely considering there are very few hospitals that offer all cores and electives...maybe if it was Wyckoff, but even at Wyckoff they don't offer psych.

For 3rd and 4th yr students-if anyone has a surgery rotation in NY from jan-may 08 and would like to switch to surgery at Cape Cod (the BEST for surgery) please reply to this message. Its best for students either close to MA or who are thinking about a career in surgery. Send me a private message.

Question about GREENBOOK Rotations. What if a rotation that I am doing lets say Pediatrics is not accredited at a particular hospital but the family medicine residency is and the pediatric rotation that I do falls under the umbrella of family medicine. Can that pediatrics rotation be considered Greenbook.

As well lets say the pediatrics rotation is not greenbook, how can that rotation have a negative impact on my career in the future. Please let me know, because I am being sent to a rotation which has only family medicine Accreditation but apparently pediatrics rotations are also done there. Thanks....

I plan to apply for internel med or surgery residency.

ENT elective

Anyone know of any good spots to do an ENT elective, preferably in NY?? As in good, I mean a good teaching experience and not just getting out early. Thanks!

Entire clinical curriculum out side of NYC

I hate New York City. Can I entirely complete my clinical education outside of NYC (cores and electives) and still be able to finish in 2 years? That includes Peds and OB/GYN. Also, can it be in the same city, too? I am wiling to travel, but money is Hella-tight. I know, I know. While I’m at it, why don’t I ask for $1million too. Also, I like cake.
