lol well maybe i shouldnt exaggerate... its not nearly as dangerous though...in comparison if you ask me. But the hospital area is real safe. Both are pretty big and nice (couple miles from each other). st marys is nicer I think. The Clinic is the buiding in the underserved area bout a mile across the river. but you would only go a couple times a week(depending on rotation), and you would go during the day anyway. plus its quite busy as well.

housing in Saginaw

Where's a good area to live while in Saginaw. Sounds like the area is a bit sketchy so I dont wanna end up in some area where I dont wanna go out at night. I know housing is pretty affordable here, anyone know what a fair price is for a furnished one bedroom?

Foxglen has furnished 1 bedrooms for like 650, you can find places all over for about 6 hundred (unfurnished).
The Ramada also has a discount for Ross students which is nice, especially if you are only going to be there for the short term. As far as what is dodgy or not, stay west of the river (Google map it) Saginaw township is very safe, but east of the river is sketch. Other apartments that I looked at were Normandy, Castle something, and some other ones of off bay road. If you really want to save money rent a room or even a house. The housing market there is so dire that they will take almost anything.
Feel free to PM me for more info
RJ

Synergy Electives (Saginaw, MI)

Has anyone done electives at Synergy? When? How is the quality of information learned? The condition of the hospital? Any detail on the schedule and activites you perform for specific rotations would be appreciated. As always, be honest and fair. Thank you from all future students!

Hey. I"m a student at Saginaw right now. I will be leaving Saginaw this September. I am an SMU student and have been here for year and bought new furniture last September. So its a year old, in great condition. I am planning on selling it or renting it. Anyone interested just PM me. Pictures upon request.
