haven't rotated there but know the hospital very well. AMAZING place. Highly regarded residencies in almost every specialty. One thing, according to their student coordinator you can only do electives there and you must be a fourth-year student, i.e. finished you cores, to do them.

Yeah this is correct. I visited the hospital (I live in NC) and she told me the same. Also told me that 8 weeks was the maximum per year. Very nice looking hospital though. I wouldn't mind doing surgery residency there...
Electives offered are: EM ID Med Sub-I Med Critical Care FP elective OB/GYN elective Psych elective Nephro General Surg elective Surg Sub-I Surg Critical Care Trauma Surg All are 4 week except for ID which can be 2 or 4. If anyone has any questions feel free to holla...

Just did a surgery elective here. I really enjoyed it. Everyone including the residents were very friendly. Most other students are from UVa. We have to be 4th year in order to do any rotations here, and there is an application process.
