This rotation is also ACGME accredited through New York Medical College (Brooklyn-Queens) Program [2203521183]. It may have been DO back when you did it, since it looks like it happened through the merger with Caritas. Regardless, the best way to look if a program is accredited is to simply look on ACGME Accredited Program and Institutional Listing - Public Access . Don't rely on anyone's word. |

If you try your search again, look at the sponsors that pop up, then click on New York Medical College (notice how many programs you missed) and then click on OB/GYN Brooklyn-Queens program. |

IM at wycoff
IM will be my last core rotation. I am considering doing it at wycoff which wont start until september. My problem is doing residency interviews during the same time period. I am wondering if anyone has advice to whether or not it is wise to do IM at wycoff. I am looking at a program that isnt too demanding that way if I have to miss days for interviews...it wont be a big problem...

Wykcoff add on rotations
Does anyone know if Wykcoff accepts students waitlisted for surgery? I want to start Sept 29 bc it fits my schedule perfectly. Apparently bc its considered and "off-cycle" or added rotation, there's no guarantee that it could actual be taken on by Wykcoff according to who I spoke with. I was advised to take Aug 18 start date which has spots, but now I would have to drop a an elective I really wanted. Any experience with students who added on the first day or were denied?
