Hey guys, I'm about to finish my 3rd year and have 1 bedroom available ASAP in a "ROSS House". It's a newly renovated 2 story house in a good, quite, residential neighborhood. My place is on the 2nd floor and there is 1 bedroom open. 3 ross students live on the 1st floor. It's close to Mary immaculate & St. Johns(CMC), and Queens Hosp., basically it's really close to all hospitals in Queens. I do rotations at Wyckoff in brooklynn and it takes me ~20 to get there driving. The place is real quite and good for studying, the neighborhood is safe, parking is always open and available as it should be, unlike EVERYWHERE else in NYC. Buses and transportation are within walking distance. I like it here because it's quite and close to most hospitals we rotate at, there are other ross students to watch each others backs or if you need anything, the no problem parking(Soooo convenient) and my favorite thing about this place is that it's NICE; hardwood floors, clean new paint, new bathroom and new kitchen with all new appliances, basically the whole floor was completely renovated less than a year ago. It even has a backyard for BBQ, nearly unheard of in NYC. I've seen a lot of places in this crazy expensive city and it finally feels good to get something nice for the high rent you pay in NYC instead of all the other crapholes you pay more for and they never even redo the place or change the carpet or paint or ANYTHING. And the best part of all, it's cheap compared to most other places that are only trying to take advantage of ross students , this place is only $600 utilities included. Is this room open only to Ross students? I have a classmate (Saba) coming to Brooklyn to do his peds rotation at Brookdale and he's looking for a place for the 6 weeks he's here.
