***, good catch @jcu, I didn't even notice that. Why in the world would an MD want to work as a PA or a medical assistant?

For those graduates who have not matched. Seems like none of you have actually attended medical school, yet that is. So for those students that didn't match, this is a position that not only teaches but also pays. When you dont understand something its most probably because your not experienced enough or just don't have enough intelligence, so next time you decide to make a smart *** comment think of who your making the comment to, ie an attending. Instead of kindly explaining why an MD should be applying for a PA position (I'm guessing because the latter title saves you money), you respond like this. Typical self righteous attending attitude. Jerk.

If you google the phone number you can find out info about the person/clinic ..... might be legit

I did google it and it does look legit, albeit cheap. Let me ask this serious question, wouldn't a non-licensed MD need to pass the Physician Assistant exam to work as a PA? That seems like it might raise an eyebrow or two when the MD applies for residency the following year. Is that off base for me to assume that?

The practice can get away with it by having you work as just a medical assistant that will assist the physician

its a win-win situation the nonmatching grad has a job for a year to pay off their loans/bills and the clinic gets an ECFMG accr medical grad to work dirt cheap at a medical assistant wage....
