Question ROOMMATE wanted

Does anyone need a roommate? I am clean, laid back, and easy going. I would like to find a place within 5-10 minutes of campus with 110V and a generator if possible. Anyone interested let me know. Or does anyone know where I can find one if not on here? Thanks for your help guys.

I'm still looking for a roommate. Money isn't really an issue for me right now, and I would definitely like to have a nice place and not have anything extra to worry about. Have you searched the housing website? Let me know.
Mark

Hey yea I basically want to do the same thing; pay whatever it takes to not have to worry. I have contacted the Avies people and they are telling me that all of their housing options are full. I haven't gone through the housing database yet but I will keep looking. Let me know if you find anything good.

This one is at SafeHome and I believe has everything we are looking for and is only a 3 minutes walk. $1400/month

This one is about a 7 minute walk and has pretty much everything (including 2 bathrooms), but doesn't have a generator. It is $1000/month.

This one has everything and a 3 minutes walk for $1760/month

This one has 2 bathrooms, but no generator. It is a 10 minute walk but offers ferry service to campus. $900/month.

Yea the first one and the thrid one seem pretty sweet. I kinda want the generator incase on the weekends I have to study at home or something. One of my friends told me that another option would be to wait until the housing tour on the island. I am not sure how that works but as of right now i like the SafeHome and the Oasis apartments. let me know what you are thinking.

I'm leaning toward the Oasis apartment the most. It has a generator and is really close to the campus. It seems to be the nicest one. I heard that going on the housing tour isn't that great. I read that most of the nice places are already gone if you wait for the housing tour. Let me know.

You hit the nail on the head. If you want a nice place, get it before you go down. If you don't care about a generator or a nice apt, then go on the housing tour. In the next few weeks, the places with generators will all be taken if they aren't already. The housing tour is also a nightmare. You and 50 people trying to see an apartment that can hold 5 people and whoever rushes the landlord first gets it.

hey, I like the Oasis apartments too. Are we supposed to contact the landlord directly or go through the ross housing department to reserve the place?

Do anyone know if people can rent entire houses or larger apartments there? I think it would be cool to live with a 2-4 other people in a larger place but not sure if thats even possible.
