books for sale - semester 1 to 5
hello,
I just finished the 5th semester in Miami and just took the step. Now, I have some books that I dont need anymore. I have books from all four semester on the the island and even all the 5th semester books. If you are starting at Ross, and are looking to get all the books ahead of time, here is a perfect chance. Following is a list of everything i have. I would like to sell semester 1 and 2 together; and 3 and 4 together. If you want to buy all 4 (or 5) semeters together, that will be great also. I will give you a very good price for all of them (plus the cost to ship them via media mail.) I purchased most of these books new. there are a couple that I purchased used, but they are all in good shape with very few highlight and very few if any writing in them. For semester 1 and 2: -cell biology and histology BRS, 4th ed. -embryology BRS, 2nd ed. -Gross Anatomy BRS, 5th ed. -high-yield gross anatomy, 2nd ed. -Moore's Essential Clinical Anatomy, 2nd ed. -biochemistry BRS, 3rd ed. -Physiology BRS -neuroanatomy BRS, 3rd ed. -High-yield neuroanatomy, 2nd ed. -Dorland's pocket medical dictionary, 27th ed. -Meisenberg's principles of medical Biochemistry, 1st ed. I think there is a newer edition for the Meisenberg book now. but this is still a very good book. Dr. Meisenberg is also your biochem professor on the island. I read the darn thing cover to cover when i was in first semester. As for the BRSes, you will soon find out that they are very highly recommend by other students. except for the physiology BRS, I bough them all new and paid approx $40USD for each one of them. semeter 3 and 4: -Davis' Quick and Accurate ECG, 4th ed (excellent book) -behavioral science BRS, 4th ed. (all you need for behav) -pathology BRS, 2nd ed. -pathology secrets, 2nd ed. (excellent book) -microbiology and immunology BRS, 4th ed. -Katzung and Trevor's Pharmacology, examination and board review -Pharmacology secrets (another excellent book) -Mims' Medical Microbiology -Clinical microbiology made ridiculously easy, 3rd ed. -Nairn's Immunology for medical students -Kaplan and Saddock's Synopsis of Psychiatry -Robbins and Cotran's Pathologic Basis of Disease, 7th ed. (this book alone cost me $110 USD, and it is an absolute must have.) -Robbins and Cotran's Review of pathology, 2nd ed. -Bate's Guide to Physical and examination and history taking (excellent book, with CD) for your ICM course. semester 5: -Shultz's EpiCize (not really a book but more like Dr. Shultz's lecture notes. Regardless, they will make you buy it for $30). -Harrison's Principles of internal medicine, 15th ed. -Fundamentals of clinical medicine, 4th ed. Contact me if you are interested. All book are in new or very good conditions. Thanks Last edited by nitramnotsa; 05-01-2007 at 11:43 PM. |
