You have to know that this faculty has absolutly no respect towards foreign students and respact no laws. You have ABSOLUTLY NO RIGHT there , especialy no right to complain
And nobody complains , that's why university keeps its fame.
But this has to CHANGE .
Corruption is a big issue and students have to gather against it. First by avoiding or transfering out of these schools

While I certainly agree with waltfw, I also think that sending the police to detail and deport a medical student who is late on fees is more than a little bit over-the-top. I think there may be more to this story (which is already too long and rambling, journalistically speaking) than we are being told.

you're nice guys , but as non-EU you erally don't get why as european citizens we are fed up with these univ-maffia in eastern europe.
Just because we pay a lot of taxes to these countries , especialy Romania , and in exchange they have to respect equality between local and EU citizens.
There is nothing else to discuss about
Constanta was caught not respecting the laws concerning this , these laws that I already quoted here
Equality is NOT the possibility for Romanian citizens to pay for going to english section but obligation for the univ to offer the same admission process for all accredited sections
this is very clear . Even the ministry representant takes the side of the 2 students

According to actual laws, more precisely OM 3331/04.03.2009 Cap. II (4), EU, European Economical Region and Swiss Confederation citizens are entitled to stand for the admission in all college study fields and levels, respecting the same conditions as Romanian students.

Following Romania’s adhering to the European Union and in accordance with Law 316 from July 12, 2006, the citizens from the European Union as well as the citizens from the Swiss Confederation and the European Economic Region may study at Romanian Higher Education Institutions in the same conditions as Romanian students do, that is :

• They have to pass an entrance examination for all study levels ( Bachelor, Master, PhD), at the same dates and the same subjects as Romanian students.
• The study fees are the same as for Romanian students, to be paid in Romanian currency (Ron). The fees may be updated every year.

Hope you will have the courage of suing the faculty in spite all all threats you could receiv

the real story about this egyptian med student was that he was suppose to pay the tution fee, but he made a fake letter stating that he had payed tution fee, for this he got caught and deported.

These stories about students being unjustly dealt with are just not true. You are going to university to study, and you are dealing with academics and professionals of their field. The egyptian student deserved to get kicked out and sent home is he did that.
