Thread: University of constanta

Hi all,

I am a UK citizen who has completed a BSc in Biomedical Science and currently studying towards an MSc in Pathology and Toxicology.I was wondering if anyone is applying to or currently studying at the university of constanta in romania.I am interested in studying medicine there and the reviews dont seem too bad.The website looks ok,however communication with the university via email is terrible,with no reply within a month!

If anyone has any information about the medschool-its teaching,
surrounding area and people,it would be of great help.

that's wrong if you apply through univ you get it by june/july (that what happens for oradea for instance)
but for constanta that's true , you have to apply directly to minister for letter can take more time

Hope that u're realy applying through the univ, cuz at the best of my knwoledge I applied last year in June directly to the school and before mid july I had the acceptance letter.

kingson could you confirm to those applying to constanta : did you apply separatly to ministry for letter of acceptance of did the univ do for you ?

For a clarification I would like to say that, last year it was possible to apply to the ministry and get the acceptance.But due to some reasons, from this year, it wont be possible anymore.U have to send ur file first to the univ that give the pre-approval and then send it to the ministry for them to issue the acceptance letter.But it seems that this rule is just applied for non-EU students.I need to find out

hi i just set up a thread and maybe we could discuss the ministry there also so people can see what they are saying. i rang the ministry yesterday and they informed me to apply direct to uni... i informed them i am EU Citizen (UK) but they said still apply to Uni. so isnt straight forward.

i contacted Ovidius University a short while ago and a kind lady gave me an email address to write to her with any queries i had about applying for General Medicine.

Im also applying to University of Constanta and i cant seem to get any info on how to apply or details of who to pay for the application fee. Bit distressed here as i think deadlines are nearing and also everyone i speak to on the phone cant communicate in english or i dont get email replies. can anyone help please.?

even after a phone call in romanian the secretariat politely answered me to F**k off that now they are in the middle of the exams that you have to wait
