MD degree from Oradea University in Romania

I've been thinking about recognition of MD degree which I'll get from Oradea University in Romania. Mainly things I heard were about the ugliness of Oradea itself. Some said it was fake and the english program is not good. Do you have any comments for this one ?

Since I don't want to stay in Romania FOREVER after I get my degree, I think I want to work as a doctor somewhere in Western Europe such as UK or Netherlands or whatever. Concerning that English is the main language now.

Have any idea about recognition of Romanian MD degree (from English program) ? Especially in Europe itself. Please give me information. Thanks.

Yes, seriously, where are the explanations. It really sucks when people post orders like that. Just give your opinions but do not scream out slogans and propaganda. It just is not helpful. At best you are scaring the ... out of us.

Here is what I think: If you go to Romania, you gotta do a 6 year program in Romanian, and be eligible to as well as able to complete the coursework and pass Romania's STATE EXAMS - this way you guarantee yourself that your education will be recognized all over the EU - why? because RO is part of the EU and diplomas are recognized.

Once you do the above, you can rest assured that you've become a physician.

You have the option of doing an English program...but a degree won't mean much unless you pass the USMLE, because you will become a doctor without a right to practice in any country. So be wise, and choose wisely...do research. For example: Is the school in RO on IMED?

There is more to this of course, but you have to do your reseach, there is much written on these boards.

The Medical Program is in english and not in Romanian. Why shouldn't it be valid in Romania?
