Hi guys

Just wanted to know how the students who enrolled this year in Romania are getting on with their courses, the language and the country. Still a while before I have to think about med-school but, knowledge is power and all that

2nd year at Cluj "Iuliu Hatieganu" Medical School. Going well, exams are pushing the stress levels. I'm doing the program in English, but I also know Romanian. In Cluj, knowing English is enough to get around, live, and learn.

Thanks mate. Do you know if your tutition fee is fixed for the duration of the course? Also. Do you know if graduates of the English programme are entitled to practice medicine in Romania or is it only graduates of the Romanian language programme.
Cheers

The tuition fee is currently about $3600 for foreign students... though there are thoughs from the Ministry of Health to increase (double) that fee to €5000 (and I correctly wrote Euros).

Since the official website of the university is completely in Romanian language and very hard to use, I suggest you have a look at UMF Cluj Forum :: View topic - Application/Enrolment Information : How To Apply To UMF Cluj & UMF Cluj Forum :: View Forum - News & Info in order to get some more info.
